Recently I stalked a lot of friends from Malaysia (when I am taking a poo, i'm a busy man, 99% of my Facebook activity is done on a toilet bowl.)

I discovered a disturbing trend : Malaysian youngsters who have spend the bulk of their time in Malaysia tend to be arrogant, proud and short-sighted.

Many were emotional and very vocal on Facebook. Others were busy chasing branded stuffs. Many more think that they are some politicians. Well.. I guess I better not talk so much about these. The last time I tried to share the wonders of the outside world and how exciting it is and how much more we can learn from the outside world, I was labeled negatively. I grow up learning that knowledge must be spread and shared.

I guess in this context, it's better keep these for myself and turn wise on my own.

RM650 Medical Bill for mother's day.

Commenting on the Chung Lin Dragon boat mishap

PENANG: The students and families affected by Sunday's dragon boat tragedy here will be given trauma counselling, said Sekolah Menengah Chung Ling Alumni vice president Teoh Peick Seong.

"I hope the families of the victims will be strong in light of what has happened," Teoh told reporters here.

Meanwhile, school principal Chua Yau Chou offered his condolences to the families of those who died in the tragedy.

"The school's management will launch a probe on how this tragedy could have happened," he said.

Eric Tan Leong Yit, 17, said his friend, who survived the tragedy, was the first to alert the police on the incident as soon as he came ashore.

"However, it took the police 45 minutes to arrive. It seems like the police initially did not believe it was a genuine emergency call," he told reporters at the scene.

In the incident, a teacher and a student drowned and four other students went missing after a dragon boat carrying 18 people capsized in waters about 100 metres offshore Lebuh Macallum here at 10.20am.

Search and rescue (SAR) teams so far have recovered the bodies of the student Jason Ch'ng, 17, and the teacher Chin Ai Fang, in his 20s, while police named those missing as Brandon Yeoh, 17, Yong Xiang, 16, Koh Yiz Hiang, 17, and Cheah Zi Jun, 17.

The teacher, two instructors and 15 students were on a training stint from 8am when the boat was struck by a wave some two hours later and capsized. - BERNAMA

Malaysia's economy this few weeks have been sluggish and in-consistent... With the market rebounded 24 points yesterday , i certainly hoped things will improve.. particularly in the electronics sector, which will directly affect my family's household income...

I googled Panasonic's outlook recently and it seems like in Japan, things are not so optimistic...Damn it..

Mom told me their company's sales for electronic motors used in cars dropped 30% .. WTF ~

Worse thing is their production is limited due to the low demand... OH bloody shit... Hopefully things will improve..

And to my friends, I would suggest now that all of you stock up all your money in fixed deposit account with a mature period of 3 months .. doing so will help you improve your financial position as well as giving your cash some liquidity ..

And when you have time , go open up an account with PTPTN .. a bank account i mean .. cause taking study loan from PTPTN requires such an account.

All hail the magical Chinese soup named "Bak Kut Teh" !! ( sorry fellow Muslims, pardon me for my un-halal-ness)


Bak Kut Teh is no doubt .. a Malaysian non-Muslim's favourite !

Even this tambi here also loves it !! And cooked it himself too !!!


It's actually a soup made with pork-rib cooked in a complex herbal soup ( star anise, dang guai, cinnamon, cloves and garlic ) ... then there's also choi sum and some mushrooms too !!

In Northern Malaysia , we improve the soup with Bak Wan ( chinese pork meat balls ! ) ..

It's served with youtiao, chilies, and chinese tea (Tieguanyin) !!


I as a Malaysian loves Bak Kut Teh too of course...

The only problem that's holding me back from enjoying bak kut teh is it's price and fat content...

Well you know... if i eat that every week i'm going to develope this :

A Trip To Kilim Geoforest Park

About 10 days ago, I joined my parents over to Langkawi for a short escape from the city .. travelling on a low budget though - that's why you guys must keep on visiting my blog to boost my Nuffnang income :)

Well, among the highlights of the trip to Langkawi is of course a tour in Kilim Geoforest Park :



Yeah.. I know, some of you are thinking of Hollywood or Jurassic Park or a mixture of both..

But this "geoforest park" title is presented by UNESCO !!

No choice.. Had to accept it anyway..

The rocks you guys see are really from the Jurassic period .. They may have surfaced from the sea millions of years ago..

HaHa... Sounds interesting ??
