Was having a long long week so I've decided to give myself a treat, FISH SOUP BEE HOON !

Went to this shop called 136 Hong Kong Street Fish Head Steamboat 香港街魚頭爐 .

I gotta say their food is awesome. Especially the Fish Soup Bee Hoon !

I got addicted to this dish ever since I came to SIngapore. Well I truly appreciate how Singaporean

love fish on their hawker fares ! It's something I can hardly find in Sungai Petani... err... wait well ok, assam laksa is made of fish too. Right ? ROFL.

Night clowdy yellowish broth with fish fillets pan seared to perfection with lot's of black woks !

Awesome sweetness of the fish and the smoothness of the bee hoon seriously melt my heart and i wanna die eating this !

Next time you drop by Singapore ! EAT THIS !! I SAAAYYYYY EAT THIIIISSSSS !!!

Prince Coffee House Beef Horfun

This shop's interior is like the good old days. Ate this when I passed by Arab Street to help my folks buy some cloth. The shop is located in Bugis Area. Honestly that area is a gourmet paradise but what you need is lot's of cash and bling blings to get it into your palate.

The beef is tender and nice. I can tell it's not Indon/Malaysian beef. It could be those air beef from US or Australia. The vegetables are fresh too ! One trick when you eat "cze char" is that some cooks over-cooked the vegetables and they become bland and yellow, which reduce their refreshing property. When you eat a dish with lot's of meat, you occasionally want some refreshment to bring the perks in your palate down so that you can enjoy more from those meat.

Over the place and food is good. What saddens me is the price. At $6.00 yes I know it's air beef and it taste good but oh well, I'm still a student and I'm dead hungry that day. I don't have much time to look for hawker food so I settled on this. The price brought down my rating for this outlet.

The Best Ramen

Just to share with you people what I've tasted lately. Miso Ramen from Shin-Sapporo. It's awesome at a proper price too !



Look at this, look at the egg especially ! It's Shin-Sapporo's signature tamago. At $14.50 this huge bowl of ramen is more than enough for 2 person. Best part is, it's awesome.

The pig bone broth is thick and well cooked. The noodles are like 100% natural Maggi noodle, chewy and well crafted. The corn and bean sprouts are cooked just nice. Simple delicious. Gonna go back for more in future. It's already my second trip there.

Shin-Sapporo. 9.50/10

Xin Wang Coffeeshop

Coffee and "Boh Long Bao" from Xin Wang Cafe in West Coast Plaza. Pretty nice coffee. The pineapple's pretty nice too =)

Hello world ! TAKE A SNEAK PEAK AT MY BUKKAKE BURGER !

OMG you definitely can't believe it !

As a burger aficionado and I'm not in a state of hunger, the Bukkake Burger taste awesome !

Yeah I know it looked like shit now because I seriously lacked the equipment to do things properly ! I dun even have a proper chopping board or a good thong to take my materials !

But the melting cheese... the caramelized onion... and my own speciality barbeque sauce.. and OF COURSE ! The 1 inch thick meat patty there that only a maestro like ME can cook !

(it's not easy to cook an one inch thick meat patty. trust me)

Juice popping out everywhere in this burger. It is the best I've tasted so far.

Alright, shall take some free time in future to tune this recipe to perfection. Troubles to take note:

• meat patty charred too fast ! I suppose its too much sugar in it.
• caramelized onions still lack the KICK ! maybe need better prep on the onion chopping since i dun have a bloody chopping board !
• burger bun seems too dry. need to change supplier hmm...
• a bit unhealthy .. lol.. cause it's too thick and i can't chuck in any salads ! maybe i should try at least a slice of tomato.

I think if i launch this burger at premium burger price, SGD 10, I'm still gonna go into deficit cause the whole burger's material alone cost me 6 dollars !!!!

Nvm.. i'm sure i'll work things out on this. Cheers, world ! Long live the Bukkake Burger !

Food for serious adult.

Lately my taste bud grew matured and even good burgers from Carl's Junior are heavily criticized by me. So instead of being a 'talk only no action' bastard that is common in the street, knowing that I'm a gifted cook I'm gonna make my own burger !

Yup. Heavy investment though ! Average SGD 6.00 for a burger served with lettuce and 2 slices of American Aged Cheddar !

Here it goes, my first burger patty ! NOT GRILLED YET SO DUN KAOPEH/COMPLAIN !

Since all famous burgers are named after some nice name just as "The Botak", "Juicy Lucy" or "King's Brew Burger".

I shall name mine "Bukkake Burger" =) Signature name HAHA !

p/s : I shall grill them tonight and let you dudes and chicks know how good it taste !

Botak Jones Steak - Nice at a reasonable price.

Kinda stress one month ago and life was super facked up. I can't take it anymore that time and I went to this 'economical' western food chain in a kopitiam. It's the infamous Botak Jones.



Tried their steak. FANTASTIC. Better than the one I had in Sydney months ago.

Gravy is great and everything else is perfect ! Had it medium and it rocks !!


Definitely will go again. Outing anybody ??

Best Best Best Beer !

Hahaha ! I've discovered one of the best best best beer in the world !!!!!!!

It's called the Hoegaarden Witbier !

Definitely fantastic ! Belgian made white beer ! Full bodied and not too strong !! (4.7% Wheat Beer)

Studying Anatomy with nice beer !!!! WoHoo !! Can't imagine how life would be like when I'm pursuing my PhD ! LOL !

And's it's farking cheap ... (basically beers are farking cheap in Singapore) .. after converting to RM .. it's cheaper than a Carlsberg in Malaysia dude !!

p/s : I'm not emo until i go and drink la... basically it was so damn hot when i go supermarket yesterday afternoon and i am feeling stress about uni life so just grab one and try LOL !

Hm... Passion Fruit

Today .. i had a marvelous ice blended drink.

I call that drink - Tropical Storm.

Tropical storm is a drink i had when i was in Melbourne 3 years back.

It's basically a fruit juice made of banana, mango, orange, passion fruit, yoghurt and some milk.

Marvellous i would say about it's taste. You'll feel like in heaven !

BUT ... after 1 hour... You'll rush to the toilet XD

The detox effect of Tropical Storm is BEYOND GOD-LIKE !!!

Doing weird stuff lately..

I found myself to be very abnormal recently..

For examples today, I ajak my sister to go to Summer Pearl where we have milk-shakes ( Large size ) for almost one hour..

SWT .. We just bring in a couple of books and study there.. Pretty good change of study environment, i love it !

I ordered a peppermint milk-shake and give sister a try.

Her comment : "Ei .. they make this drink using Colgate ar ?!"

That seductive Chinese soup call Bak Kut Teh...

All hail the magical Chinese soup named "Bak Kut Teh" !! ( sorry fellow Muslims, pardon me for my un-halal-ness)


Bak Kut Teh is no doubt .. a Malaysian non-Muslim's favourite !

Even this tambi here also loves it !! And cooked it himself too !!!


It's actually a soup made with pork-rib cooked in a complex herbal soup ( star anise, dang guai, cinnamon, cloves and garlic ) ... then there's also choi sum and some mushrooms too !!

In Northern Malaysia , we improve the soup with Bak Wan ( chinese pork meat balls ! ) ..

It's served with youtiao, chilies, and chinese tea (Tieguanyin) !!


I as a Malaysian loves Bak Kut Teh too of course...

The only problem that's holding me back from enjoying bak kut teh is it's price and fat content...

Well you know... if i eat that every week i'm going to develope this :



That's bad.. don't you think so ? REAL BAD !!

But then again... WHO CARES !!!

All i want is a good BAK KUT TEH experience !!!

On the17th century - A dessert similar to tiramisu was was created in Siena, in the northwestern Italian province of Tuscany. The occasion was a visit by Grand Duke Cosimo de' Medici III (1642-1723), in whose honor the concoction was dubbed zuppa del duca (the "duke's soup"). He brought the recipe back with him to Florence. In the 19th century, tiramisu became extremely popular among the English intellectuals and artists who lived in Florence. The dessert made its way to England, where its popularity grew.
