Yeah honestly I'm a cake enthusiasts. I love tiramisu and brownies in particular. So that leads me to exploring the net for blogs about cakes.

Surprisingly i found one written by a Malaysian girl residing in U.K. called Bee Nee (the one on the left):



Her blog ( Yet Another Food Blog ) may have a funny name .. but her cake baking attitude is no funny thing !

Blogging Etique - What we need to cultivate in Malaysian blogosphere ~~

I dare to say that Malaysian blogosphere is facing one of it's biggest crisis at the moment .. Bloggers may had grown in number...

BUT !!!!

The quality of blogs never grow even an inch !! NenePOT !!!
( two centimeter got la , 2cm < 1 inch )

Reason ? Despite we have superb blogs like kennysia.com , liewcf.com , timothytiah ??

The rate of emergence of "quality bloggers" are far to low compared to the blogger's rate of increase !

And worst of all... Many new bloggers care only for their "ads" money !!! DAMN !!

I'll give you one damn example :



DIU .... if you want to ask people to do so... tell them privately lar...
no need to be so open one lar...
you can always use msn or whatever piece of shit to ask ppl to click on your ads !! Why are you behaving like an ass-hole and be so open ?!

2nd bad sign of stupid Malaysian bloggers :

The whole page is made up of ads and ads are their sole content !!!

Have you ever seen a page without a post more than 50 words but with pictures of cam-whored self portraits ??!! Up to more than 50 pics on a single page !!!!!!

OMG ~~ and worst of all.... these people who cam-whored too much actually looked ugly ..

( i'll not give any examples but to regular blog hoppers they knew what the hell am i talking )

And they exposed themselves to potential rapists who might be stalking them all the time..

Then rape is associated to blogging then the government wants to ban blogging ... Possible scenario ??

Yes.. to me , it's a DEFCON 1 worst case scenario for all of the bloggers in Malaysia !



You may think that I've been too hyperbolic ... yet , it's my authentic personal view.

I write, i reread and i reedit and post my posts .. and forget about it and i don't even give a piece of shit about what I've blogged ... it's my principle anyway ..like it ? read my blog more ..

Well, apparently.. Some block-head has stolen my telephone cable last month ...

and, i lost internet connection ... :(

Well, i see that many of my friends had already started doing advertising stuff on their blogs ..

Here i would like to publish a small and comprehensive guide for you all on which advertising agent is the best :

Google Adsense ..

How it works :

1 . CPC Ads... Basically it's like they will require you to install ads code on your blog's template. Then they'll scan through your blog's content for any keywords.. Which will be used to pair suitable ads to your blog ! When someone clicks on these ads, you'll get paid !!

How they pay :

By cheque : You'll only get paid when your earnings exceeds US $ 100 .. They'll send you a cheque by mail and you need to go to a bank to withdraw the money. *WARNING* Banks will charge you some fees to withdraw those money ..

How good do they pay :

Well.... in overall ... They pay is positive. After all... They pay in US dollar...
Our Malaysian economy will not progress any further in my opinion, and we'll still "enjoy" the 1 dollar = +/- RM 3.50 rate ...

Second recommendation :

Nuffnang !!

How they work :

Basically it's kinda complicated here ... I would suggest you all to go to their site and read the FAQ.

How they pay :

Similar to Adsense , by cheque... But they pay in RM.. and the banks will charge you around 1 or 2 ringgit only..

How good do they pay :

Hmm.... Depending on how popular your site is...
My blog for example, enjoys 50-90 unique visitors per day..
Using their campaign ads, where no one needs to click it for you to earn money ,
I can earn roughly RM 3.50 per week !!
A very very good site income for this blog to complement with Adsense ...
And they are paying more and more recently !!

A very very good advantage over Adsense ...

For those who have only 20+ unique visitors a day ... The pay is like USD 0.02 per click..
For those who have only 50+ unique visitors a day ( like me , hehe... ) The pay is around USD 0.10 per click ...

Following the move by the Malaysian Government to keep an eye on bloggers in Malaysia.. I've decided to make Green Latte a politics free blog !

Reasons :

1. I'm afraid of going into jail..
2. I'm afraid of eating curry rice everyday..
3. It's useless to voice out your opinion ..
4. Malaysia prohibits free speech !!
5. I'm willing to let this country ignores her own weaknesses and losts her independence one day ..

The type with the same background colour of course ... 

Let readers thought your ads is actually a part of the content of your blog !! Yes !! 

That's the best way to advertise .. :)
