It is inevitable. People is trying to earn money. Malaysian economics is sided towards freemarket. Therefore, government intervention is not much. But seriously, they took it from thailand rite? so we shudn't blame the government.
i dun mean our government i mean theirs.r u sure malaysia more to free market.i feel got a bit la but i feel tat sumtimes there government intervention in other sectors.
it is free market inclined but not totally. of course there is controlled items, like the setting of ceiling price and floor price for some goods. but other than that, it is mostly free market. By the way, people have their rights to express themselves on the condition that they do not 1. break the law of their respective country, 2.do not harm other people in any way,
According to the universal declaration of human right article 19, Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
therefore, govt should not interfere unless the the free speech is unfair and discriminating.
Malaysia government r very strict about freedom of speech.Juz few days ago a PKR guy juz get arrested for expressing his own opinion.I dun think so malaysia is a free market.Government intervene still at large here in malaysia.i dun think so tat a havard graduate will come out a discriminating speech to the public.Beside malaysia government is bloody courrupt(too corrupt).i get wat u mean bout free market.Juz tat give malaysia governemnt still interverne a lot.More to mixed economy perhaps.
